Colorado State University (Also known as Colorado State or CSU), is a university located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Its Esports club is called the CSU Esports Association.

Overview[]
Colorado State University’s League of Legends team has competed for 2 years as a stand-alone club of students. In January of 2019, it was announced that Colorado State University was recognizing Esports as an official club sport and will obtain JV, or Junior Varsity status. Alongside the other competitive Esports on campus, the CSU Esports Association has been an active JV sports club at Colorado State University since August 2019.
2017 Season[]
The school's first entry into League of Legends was the uLoL 2017 West Conference where they competed with an unknown roster. The team did not qualify for Playoffs ending 4th place in their group with a 2-3 record.
2019 Season[]
After a year hiatus from any Riot sanctioned tournaments, CSU participated in the CLOL 2019 Mountain West Conference with their roster of FaIcon, DJKUSH, Denon39, Gjelde, and Rise of Fenris. Similar to 2017, the team did not qualify for Playoffs, ending 4th place in their group with a 1-3 record.
