Champions Queue (CQ) is a competitive system with elo points reserved for players and coaches from a certain region. Champions Queue is held in Tournament Realm (a special client for tournaments). Champions Queue can be organized by Riot Games itself or by an individual.
List of Champions Queue[]
NA Champions Queue[]
Starting from Split 1 (Spring Split) 2022 for players, streamers from LCS, LCS Academy League, NACL, LLA (North Latin American Teams), University Teams, and teams attending Worlds or MSI (if that year is held in North America).
NA CQ has both prizes and honors for players who achieve high rankings and has a website that updates the ranking situation but since 2023 the website has been inactive.
But Champion Queue matches are still held behind closed doors.
EMEA Champions Queue (EU Inhouses)[]
EU Inhouses takes place at the same time as NA Champions Queue but is more secretive about match information. EU Inhouses is for players participating in LEC and ERL tournaments and streamers living and working in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In addition, during international events taking place in EMEA countries, EU Inhouses will also be open to players outside of EMEA.
In 2023 EU Inhouses changed its name to EMEA Champions Queue and was updated with all 2023 data on the website managed and operated by Riot Games but after 2023 the website was discontinued and it returned to its original name EU Inhouses.
APAC Remotes - Champions Queue[]
APAC Remotes was opened by Means and Hankay based on NA Champions Queue in early 2023. Initially, the event was very exciting and players often live streamed it, but after Riot Games disagreed, APAC Remotes still took place but was not allowed to livestream it outside.
APAC Remotes is for players and coaches from leagues such as VCS, LPL, LDL, LCK, LCK CL, LCK AS, PCS, PCL, LJL and LCO.
Tencent Super Server[]
Tencent Super Server is one of the 29 servers in the China region. This server is reserved for LPL and LDL players as well as some high-ranked players. It can also be considered as a Champions Queue of the China region but operates with a separate Client instead of using Realm like other Champions Queues.
