Campus Party Sparks was an Italian team, born from the meeting between Francesco "GodKira" Albanese and Jan "Doctor Bango" Nava, 5 Hydra Esport's owners, with Campus Party, an organization with the aim to improve awareness and culture of esports. The team is a rebranding of 5 Hydra Esport, to underline the new partnership with Campus Party. It is also known as Sparks Esports.

History

2019 Season

After EVC 2018 Winter, 5 Hydra Esport rebranded to Campus Party Sparks.

PG Nationals 2019 Spring

Campus Party Sparks was called to defend its spot in PG Nationals 2019 Spring during the promotion tournament. Sparks easily defeated Dark Zone, showing immediately its strength.
PG Nationals regular season went great. After week 3, Sparks won every match, earning first place in regular season and a bye to semifinals. Sparks easily beated Outplayed in semifinals with a record of 3 : 0. Finals was hard. Samsung Morning Stars was leading the series, with a score of 2 : 0. Sparks reversed the series and defeated Samsung Morning Stars, awarding PG Nationals trophy and qualifying for EU Masters 2019 Spring.
