CBOLÃO is an off-season tournament organized by Brazilian streamer Baiano, reuniting players from CBLOL, CBLOL Academy, Ignis Cup, free agents and solo queue fan favorites. For the first time, the tournament will feature a showmatch between two legendary rosters from CBLOL: the paiN 2015 roster and the INTZ 2016 Exodia roster. The tournament will also have the first international team reuniting big names from the LCS, including former world champion CoreJJ and former analyst for Flamengo Esports, FLAnalista. This year's edition will also feature English and Spanish costreams by respectively former player IWDominate and LVP caster Toad. [1] This season, the tournament will take place during Comic Con Experience 2023, in São Paulo, Brazil.
Overview
Format
- Eight invited teams [2]
- Five "proplayer" teams
- Three "monochampion" teams
- Double-elimination bracket, Upper Bracket games are randomly drawed.
- Teams that have already faced each other in the Upper Bracket cannot face each other again in the Lower Bracket in Rounds 1 and 2.
- All matches are BO1 until finals, finals are BO3.
- Showmatch between two "legendary CBLOL" teams [3]
