- Single-elimination bracket
- 7th place match will be played in a best-of-three series; semifinals and finals will be played in a best-of-five series
- 7th place will play in the 2017 Split 1 Promotion; 8th place is relegated to Challenger Circuit
- Third place will be defined by tie-breaking criteria, instead of a third place match:
- Total wins in the playoffs
- Shortest combined Game Time (for wins)
- Team's final placement in the regular season
- Winner will qualify to the 2016 International Wildcard Qualifier
