Boise State University (also known as Boise State or BSU) is a university in Boise, Idaho. Its esports team is called Boise State Esports. The esports program at Boise State is varsity, in the same tier as football and other sports. However, it is housed in the College of Innovation and designed with faculty assigned from the College of Education.
History[]
2018 Season[]
The school's first time competing in League of Legends was in the CLOL 2018 West Conference with the roster Ged Hawk, Sulpan, Lyu, Red Hots, Adopted Lemons, and Llynx. They did not qualify for Playoffs ending with a 2-4 record.
2019 Season[]
Boise State started in the new Mountain West Conference conference with the roster of NotKoba, Adopted Lemons, Red Hots, CantGetDopamine, and Dean. They finished first in the Mountain division and traveled to Las Vegas for the 2019 Mountain West Championship where they took second place losing to San Jose State University
2020 Season[]
Boise State started Mountain West portion CLOL 2020 Mountain West Conference with the roster of Wujin, CantGetDopamine, Red Hots, Gimmick, and Dean. They finished first in the Mountain division regular season, but lost to Colorado State University getting 3rd/4th place.
