His previous ID, Bankai, comes from the anime Bleach, in which "bankai" is one of the forms of a Zanpakutou sword. It's also a tribute to Bankai, who is his friend and a fellow top laner. When the "original" Bankai entered the competitive scene in the 2021 season, he changed his nickname to his surname, Boal.
During the start of 2023's second split, he suffered from burnout due to the game meta changes and left Los Grandes to treat this problem. He talked about it in a tweet and said he still intended to compete professionally.^[32]
He is Mayumi's ex-boyfriend.^[33]
He is one of the few Brazilian players known to have been privately coached by Nelson, along with Revolta. ^[34]
