Biography[]
Azael began his esports career as a World of Warcraft professional gamer at the end of 2007 for the Evil Geniuses organization. His relevance in the gaming community grew during the years as he also began casting for different Blizzard titles, including World of Warcraft arena matches, Starcraft 2, and Hearthstone. His career at Riot Games began in 2015 in the playtesting department; he then accepted an offer to be part of the casting crew,[4] officially joining on March 30, 2016.[5] Since then he has appeared on air as both a color commentator and an analyst desk guest; he was most notably part of the live broadcast team for both the NALCS 2016 Summer Finals in Toronto and the 2016 Season World Championship, where he also casted the Grand Finals alongside Phreak and Zirene on the secondary stream dedicated to new players. In May 2021, Azael left Riot Games, but continued casting for the LCS in a contract position.
