Biography[]
Albis joined Corsair in May 2012 as their starting AD Carry. After losing to Taipei Assassins in the 2012 Worlds Qualifiers, Corsair merged with SteelSeries WIE to form ahq e-Sports Club. The team chose Albis to be their starting AD Carry while SteelSeries WIE's AD Carry GreenTea moved to support.
2013 Season[]
With ahq, Albis played a heavy bait-focused play-style, which many times led to him dying. He was heavily criticized by people on ptt (Taiwan's equivalent of Reddit) for the team's loses. He later made a post on ptt titled "[問題] 關於AD" ([Question] Speaking of AD Carry) which led to a lot of backlash.[12] ahq would later lose to Taipei Snipers and Gamania Bears, failing to make Worlds again.
2014 Season[]
In 2014 Albis moved to mid, sharing the position with the team's new mid laner Westdoor. After only one month, he was sent to their sister team ahq Fighter to replace their original mid laner Ysera, because Ysera was under 17 years old and not allowed to participate in the GPL. After Ysera was able to play, Albis and Ysera shared both mid and support, swapping roles when needed. ahq Fighters later rebranded into Logitech G Fighter. The team would eventually lose to ahq e-Sports Club and once again failed to qualify for Worlds.
2015 Season[]
ALbis rejoined ahq in the beginning of Season 5, this time sharing Jungle with Mountain. He would later become the starting support after GreenTea stepped down.
Placed directly into the finals of the gauntlet-style playoffs, they once again won the season, this time beating Hong Kong Esports 3-0 and automatically qualifying for the 2015 Season World Championship.
At Worlds, ahq were seeded into Group B, along with Fnatic, Invictus Gaming, and Cloud9 and went 3-3, advancing to the playoffs after a tiebreaker victory over Cloud9 (giving the North American team their fourth loss in a row that day). Their World Championship run ended in the quarterfinals, where they were drawn against tournament favorites SK Telecom, earning a top 8 finish.
2016 Season[]
During the 2016 Spring Season, ahq was consistently the top team of the League, ending in first place with an impressive 11-3-0 record. However, their domestic dominance came to a sudden halt in the Playoff Finals, where they lost 0-3 against the Flash Wolves.
ahq struggled during the whole Summer Season, without being able to take a single best-of-2 series victory against the other two top teams, Flash Wolves and the newly formed J Team. They placed third in the end and qualified for the Summer Playoffs; their Playoffs run ended in the Semifinals match against the Flash Wolves, losing 2-3 in close fashion. Their Summer Split ranking granted ahq a spot in the Regional gauntlet, through which they qualified to the 2016 Season World Championship by beating Machi E-Sports in the Finals 3-0.
ahq were then seeded into Worlds Group C, alongside EDward Gaming, H2K, and INTZ. After going 2-1 in Week 1, the Taiwanese team failed to repeat their success during Week 2, mostly due to H2k's resurgence, as they ended in third place with a 3-3 score.
2019 Season[]
On January 7, 2019, ahq announced that both Albis and Westdoor would be retiring from the professional scene and move to become a streamer for the team instead.[13]
