The 2025 Season World Championship (Worlds 2025) is the conclusion of the 2025 League of Legends esports season. The tournament will be held in China.
Overview
Format
- 17 teams are invited:
- 4 from Korea
- 4 from China
- 3 from Americas
- 3 from EMEA
- 3 from Asia-Pacific
- Stage 1 (Play-In)
- 2 teams participate
- Match is best of five
- Winner advances to Stage 2
- Stage 2 (Swiss)
- 16 teams participate
- 15 teams prequalified for Stage 2 + the qualifier of Stage 1
- Swiss-style format with five rounds
- Rematches within Swiss Stage are not permitted
- Matchups will be drawn at the end of each round
- Teams with three wins advance to Stage 3, while teams with three losses are eliminated
- Qualification and Elimination matches are best of three; all other matches are best of one
- 16 teams participate
- Stage 3 (Knockout)
- Eight qualifiers from Stage 2 participate
- Single elimination bracket
- Matches are best of five

Participants
- The MSI Champion seed will only become effective if the winning team reaches the Playoffs in their domestic last split or season.
- The second best-performing region at MSI 2025 will receive an additional seed.
- In the tables below, (Q) refers to the date on which the team qualified for Worlds, while (Seed) refers to when the team was locked into their seed. If neither is present, these happened on the same day.
- Following the Play-In results, the #3 seed of the Play-In winner's region will be placed in Pool 2, while the losing region's #3 seed will be placed in Pool 3.
