Regional Distribution

Teams

  • With the announced format changes to Worlds earlier this year, all of the representatives from the LPL, LCK, LEC and LCS (except the WQS winner) will now start in the Main Event. [5]
  • With Turkey and CIS being absorbed into the EMEA region, they are no longer eligible to send a representative to Worlds. [6]
  • Starting in 2023, Oceania was integrated into the PCS playoffs as part of their Worlds qualification path, therefore no longer having a direct spot at the event. [7]
