The 2023 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2023) is held between the first and second splits of all regions, with the exception of EMEA, where it's between the second and third split. The champions of each competitive region as well as the runner-ups of the major regions compete for the MSI title. In 2023, the tournament underwent major format changes compared to previous years including the implementation of best of threes, double elimination, and more.[1]

    • Teams are drawn into two double elimination brackets
    • Bracket matches are best of three
    • LCQ match is best of five
    • Winners of each group and the winner of the LCQ match between the lower bracket winners advance to Stage 2
  • Stage 2 (Bracket)
    • 8 teams participate
      • 5 teams prequalified for Stage 2 + the 3 qualifiers of Stage 1
    • Double elimination bracket
    • Matches are best of five

  • The Play-In Draw Show took place on April 23rd, after the conclusion of the LEC 2023 Spring Finals.[3]

Prize Pool[]

  • Minimum Prize Pool $ 250,000 USD
  • Figures are based on the minimum guaranteed prize pool of $ 250,000 USD. A percentage of the revenue from designated in-client sales is yet to be added to this amount.
