The 2022 Season World Championship (Worlds 2022) is the conclusion of the 2022 League of Legends esports season. The tournament will be held in North America.

- 24 teams are invited:
- 4 from China
- 4 from Korea
- 4 from Europe
- 3 from North America
- 2 from PCS (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asia)
- 2 from Vietnam
- 1 from Brazil
- 1 from Japan
- 1 from Latin America
- 1 from Oceania
- 1 from Turkey
- 1 from CIS
- Patch Information: 12.18 [1] with Udyr disabled.[2]
- Due to the cancellation of the LCL, the CIS' slot was awarded to Europe as the region with the best performance during international events over the past two years without already having 4 slots (which China and Korea already had).[5]
- The Draw Show took place on September 11th, after the conclusion of the LCS 2022 Championship.[6]
Prize Pool[]
- Figures are based on the minimum guaranteed prize pool of $ 2,225,000 USD. A percentage of the revenue from designated in-client sales is yet to be added to this amount.
- During the group stage, if the 3rd and 4th place teams in a group are tied, they both will receive 2.375% of the total prize pool.
- During the play-in, if the 5th and 6th place teams in a group are tied, they both will receive 0.875% of the total prize pool.
$ 2,225,000 US Dollars are spread among the teams as seen below:

- The semifinals originally were set to take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. However, due to visa issues related to COVID-19, its location was moved to Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
