The 2021 Season World Championship (Worlds 2021) is the conclusion of the 2021 League of Legends esports season. The tournament will be held in China.

  • Seeding Changes: China and South Korea both receive one extra seed for a total of four. Seedings for minor regions remain unknown.
  • In North America, LCS changed to a one-season-per-year system, with LCS 2021 Championship replacing LCS Summer Playoffs, and the seeding of LCS 2021 Championship will be decided by a cumulative scoreboard consisting of the whole Regular Season from January to August.
  • In Oceania, ESL Australia hosts a new tournament called LCO, which replaces OPL - the latter having dissolved in 2020.
