The 2021 Season World Championship (Worlds 2021) is the conclusion of the 2021 League of Legends esports season. The tournament was originally slated to be held in China, but was moved to Europe due to travel restrictions and COVID protocols.[1]

  • Seeding Changes: China and South Korea both receive one extra seed for a total of four. Seedings for minor regions remain unknown.
  • In North America, LCS changed to a one-season-per-year system, with LCS 2021 Championship replacing LCS Summer Playoffs, and the seeding of LCS 2021 Championship will be decided by a cumulative scoreboard consisting of the whole Regular Season from February to August.
  • In Oceania, ESL Australia hosts a new tournament called LCO, which replaces OPL - the latter having dissolved in 2020.
  • In the tables below, (Q) refers to the date on which the team qualified for Worlds, while (Seed) refers to when the team was locked into their seed. If neither is present, these happened on the same day.
