Initial discovery[]
On February 22, it was revealed that FunPlus Phoenix's jungler Bo reported himself to the team for being coerced into match-fixing while playing in the LDL, the LPL's academy league. As a result, he was suspended by the team and was reported to league officials.[1]
Putting LDL on halt[]
On March 16, the LDL weibo account announced that the LDL would come to an immediate halt to perform an internal rectification process.[2] This rectification process was started to uncover match-fixing involvements of all LPL and LDL players and teams.
