The Garena Premier League 2014 is the third year of the GPL and the qualifiers of Season 4 World Championship.

- 12 teams from different regions.
- 4 teams from Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau.
- 3 teams from Vietnam.
- 2 teams from Thailand.
- 2 teams from Singapore/Malaysia.
- 1 teams from Philippines.
- Divided into 2 groups with 6 teams each.
- Double Round Robin, Best of One matches.
- Top four teams of each group advance to the bracket stage.
- If teams tie-up, rank will be decided by match results between these teams.
- Extra games will be played if still tied.
- Bracket Stage is Single Elimination.
- All bracket stage games are best of five.
- Winner of GPL Summer receives a direct seed for Season 4 World Championship.
- the other spot will decide on Circuit Points.
